Can geese really help you bake stuff?
A rainy day today in Bendas, would love to be baking some biscuits at home and brew up a BIG cuppa tea! Well maybe on the weekend. Love these new ceramic geese from Made590, they are just like the bakerlite ones from Nana times, but these ones are ceramic gorgeousness.

My dollhouse
This week I want to introduce the most beautiful thing in the shop...to me anyway. It's my new window display dolls house, which was built for me by my grandpa in 1974. It is just perfect. My Nana made all the furnishings that went in it, curtains, carpets, little dinner sets and books. I had so much fun with it when I was little and I have never tired of playing with toys and using my imagination. It will be used to feature new products in the bob window. I am so excited to be using it again. Isn't it beautiful!

Logan French exhibition of new works has started today at bob. He has produced 8 stunning new works for the "It's night, but not as we know it" show which finishes on August the 14th. He has done an amazing job as usual and we were very busy with customers yesterday wanting first glimpse at his new work. For the first time he is also offering limited edition of 5 prints off each original painting, which is great news. We are also presenting an up and coming local artist Lillian Bell, who produces handmade, hand painted (front & back) flat dolls, which are so divine. We have mounted them in acetate pockets for the show and they all come with their own story. We will have the images up on the website for sale over the weekend. I am struggling to get some good photo's without any glare, please bare with me, and drop in and visit us if you can. :)
